Design Process

You are welcome to make an appointment by contacting me by phone or email, with the invitation to sit down in the workshop/studio. I will guide you through the design process, explain how the jewellery is made and choose the best stones, precious metal and style you desire, the jewellery will be tailor made to include all your individual requirements.

Remakes + Repairs

I offer a full remodelling and repair service. For instance you can have restored an old inherited heirloom piece of jewellery where time has worn it away, reinterpreting its old design. You can work with me to completely restyle the jewellery also to have a more contemporary new look. Where possible I try to recycle the metal and use your existing stone’s as I understand the sentimental attachment you have to your inherited jewellery.

Also the jewellery services involve ring resizing, repair of clasps, fitting on pearls, chains and bracelets.

As an additional service I can organise engraving and pearl rethreading and also on request independent valuations for you and I am also able to facilitate insurance claims.

Jewellery Classes

In 2013 my father and I together started teaching hand skill classes from our studio/workshop as we both shared a concern for traditional hand skills and techniques being lost, the very foundations of all jewellery making.  I continue happily the tradition of mentoring people once tertiary courses have been completed and on request will undertake other classes. These skills that are taught through the varied projects are designed to help build and develop the students own jewellery making practice. My fathers’ mantra throughout this working life was a willingness to help people with advice and assistance and I continue the passion and commitment by holding these ongoing and new student classes.

Enquires can be made to me directly and I will advertise projects, contents and sessions as they become available over the year. I will share photo’s of jewellery projects undertaken on social media.
